The Students’ Representative Council (SRC), Igbogbo Students’ Union (ISU), under the leadership of RT. Hon. Hafsoh Ogunbiyi, on Friday, paid a thank you visit to the Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Omoba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun.
The visit represents a strategic effort to foster institutional collaboration and express appreciation for his continued support toward student development.
Rt. Hon. Hafsoh Ogunbiyi, Speaker of the SRC, said that the visit aimed at establishing and strengthening a formal relationship between the Parliamentary Council and the Local Government.

She emphasised the importance of building bridges between student leadership structures and governmental institutions. She stressed more synergy and dialogue for sustainable progress.
In addition, the Speaker used the opportunity to appreciate the LCDA Chairman for his recent support in facilitating the disbursement of free UTME forms, which she said benefited several members of the student body, a gesture acknowledged as a demonstration of the Aroyewun administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and educational advancement.
While welcoming the student parliamentarians, Aroyewun called for unity, focus, and responsibility.

He emphasised that students are an integral part of the youth constituency and must position themselves as future nation-builders through discipline and collective strength.
The Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Olowu, in his remarks also charged the students’ leader on leadership responsibility and the need for sustained cooperation between student bodies and local government institutions.
